Operating Hours

The Gan will start daily at 9 am thru 3:00 pm. We offer an early arrival of 8:30 am and an aftercare option, up to extra 2 hours (3 to 4 pm and 4 to 5 pm) - see rates below;

We will Iyh operate the official Gan Shirly program September thru June; Information on summer programs will be sent later in the year.

Iyh there will be a Yiddish speaking class!  

How to Register

Below is our initial registration form. A finalized application will include a (non-refundable) $360 registration fee. Only complete forms along with the registration fee will secure your child’s spot next year (fee does not apply towards tuition)

B'h, I am humbled and excited to open registration for our upcoming year at 33 Downtown. To me, safety and a loving environment are everything; while children absorb so much at this age, warmth is what they need most.

Daily Lunch Program $120
Aftercare (3pm - 4pm) $125

Lunch & Aftercare are billed on a month-to-month basis.

Babies & Infants

We will Iyh have 2 groups of babies from 6 weeks old through 6 months olds;
Each group has up to 6 children so spots are limited

Fully equipped babysitting rooms with cribs, mats (once crawling), and space for strollers used for outdoor strolling;

Bookshelves with Red circular accents, located in a modern library or reading area, with windows and natural light.

Toddlers up to 2 year olds

Our toddler program runs for toddlers up to 2 year olds.

  • 6 mo to 9 mo old - one group of 6 children

  • 9 mo - 1 yr old - one group of 9 children

  • 1 -2 yr old: two groups of up to 9 children in each

2-4 Year old Children

We Iyh will have multiple classes as follows:
2-3 year olds - 2 groups with 12 children in each class, with two teachers in each

3-4 year olds - 2 groups with 12 children in each class, with two teachers in each.

Sample general daily schedule: 

  • 9-9:45 – Free Play 

  • 9:45-10:10 – Circle Time / snack time

  • 10:10 - 10:40 – outdoor play (season permitting)  

  • 10:40-11:00 – projects and indoor learning

  • 11 - 11:30 – gym  

  • 11:30-11:45 – library  

  • 11:45 - 12 noon - circle time II

  • 12 - 12:30 pm - lunch

  • 12:30 - 2 pm - nap time

  • 2 - 3 pm - wake up routine and free play with 2nd snack  

  • 2:45 - 3 pm - first dismissal

Notes: 

  • Diapers will be changed as needed throughout the day – and before every nap time

  • Fridays will include a Shabbos Party weekly 

  • Birthdays will be celebrated throughout the year between the children (no need for parents to attend)
